With the world today being in the midst of so many challenges and needing a infrastructure of knowledge, it seems silly to hold that knowledge behind a expensive door. The Only way to get past this door is for students to pay large amounts of fees to access the knowledge. I have nothing against Universities and what they do. Where I have a problem is when you have youth in a modern nation not able to access the tools to change the world, simply due to the fact they do not have a large amount of money.

I imagine a student usuing new media tools, from thier homes, paying a lot smaller fees, almost renting the education and utilizing the knowledge to discover new ways to solve current global challenges. The system could entail a log in where you pay a fee to get an online professor or expert to chat with, regarding questions or in depth concerns, you could pay this expert a hour fee(example $150 per hour). We need a education revolution, to get to the challenges facing us globally and our first step is a way of making all knowledge available to all levels of citizens. This could speed up the race to find our answers.

We must be responsible as a generation, a present day inhabitant, and a future caretaker of the earth. Science and the planet are showing us ways to save all that is and all that can be, its time to feel the urgency and begin an aggressive move towards awareness, education and life changing habits. Turn off your television, cell phone, or computer for 1 hour a day and sit in an open discussion with your friends, family, or co-workers, follow your dialogue with action. Share your daily results and activity in your social networks and be a part of the “forward change”.

In the past year Streetkore has been taking steps to become a active participant in the forward movement of a sustainable planet. The time is urgent and neccessary to utilize every possible moment, for a committment to move into a environmental responsible future.

This year Streetkore will host a series of documentaries, workshops and roundtables to unite like minded people and create a platform for on going discussions.
